Perplex City Board Game Out Now!
Perplex City, the gaming phenomenon that has caught the imagination of thousands of people, is now available as a board game.
2 to 16 players dash around the map of Perplex City, collecting puzzle stones as they solve riddles, brainteasers, anagrams and dingbats against the clock. You can unlock each stone with a different type of puzzle, and even throw down a puzzle challenge to another player – win this battle of wits to steal a stone, complete your set and claim victory!
Each game comes with:
- 1,296 puzzles across six different categories for a variety of skill levels
- 24 puzzle stones and four playing pieces;
- A timer to hurry along lazy puzzlers;
- An 8-page booklet with instructions and information about the world of Perplex City
- A board (duh!) and a die.
As you continue on your quest to collect each colourful puzzle stone, you must solve a puzzle from its matching category: Visual, Word Play, Odd One Out, Anagrams, Number Trivia or Pot Luck. Watch this space for future expansion packs that will add even more puzzles.
And if the original Perplex City is new to you, it’s a gaming experience that cuts across the worlds of gameplay, fiction and real-life. It’s based around the search for the Receda Cube which has been stolen from Perplex City. It’s an object of immense power and importance, and the people of Perplex City want it back.
The thieves have buried the Cube somewhere on Earth and there’s a reward of £100,000 for whoever finds it first. You can find information about the city, the Cube and its possible location through a series of puzzle cards. Not only are the puzzle cards fun to solve, but they also teach you a little bit more about Perplex City.
The hunt for the Cube can lead you on all kinds of real-life adventures. Already, there have been messages written in the sky, spectacular escapes by helicopter, emergency phone calls and secret meetings around the world.
