This is a game that provides a brilliant mental exercise, yet is timeless in its appeal and constant in its entertainment.

I remember playing this game as a child with my grandmother and my mother, and now my children play with me and my mother. If that isn’t testament to its value and longevity, I don’t know what is.

I played twice with my husband tonight, only to reach a draw – but the fact that we played twice is great. Certainly that speaks to its replayability.

I will not elaborate on the strategy or mechanics – no need to, really, since most people reading this will surely understand it’s rules and conventions. My only thought is that the excellence of this game is unquestionable, and I hope and expect it shall remain a classic for many years to come.
