Mission Earth
Your mission: Save the world from global warming!
The race to save the planet is on in a new board game that’s fun, informative and highlights the issues of Global warming. Mission Earth is the brainchild of a group of schoolgirls from Oxfordshire who, as part of the Young Enterprise Scheme, designed a board game.
The scene is set in the year 2259 on a polluted earth where young Earth Heroes, each with a special power, must save the planet. The simple, spiral path through space and time is negotiated with a throw of a dice as they move towards Earth bringing their message home that we must act now to save our planet! The game also incorporates a special teamplay element. This additional element not only supports co-operative play but emphasises that children achieve much more when they work together.
With Mission Earth there’s hours of gameplay to be had and the result is a fun, interactive experience boosting players’ understanding of the environment. Practice what you preach! In keeping with its ecological principles, Mission Earth is manufactured in the UK with the playing surface being created from the box, ensuring no extra packaging is required. Plus, the game uses no plastic.
