Backgammon is the classic strategy game dating back thousands of years. Each player has a set of 15 counters that must be moved from their starting positions, around, and then off the board. Dice are thrown, and each player must decide which of his counters to move based on the outcome of the roll. Players can capture each other’s counters, forcing the captured men to restart their journey. The winner is the first player to get all of their counters off the board.

This compact but sturdy light oak-cased backgammon set has darker brown panels and accessories which complement the pale interior.

It comes with 4 dice, 30 playing pieces, 1 doubling cube, 2 dice cups – and an instruction booklet by David Pritchard.
