When you see the game you’ll be first impressed by the art, that is amazing. The cards are beautiful and the game is really straightforward to learn. Basically you choose a character among two and some advantage cards (that are considered “powers”) then you move to different locations in order to recruit more characters, gain more powers or to complete a quest. After one quest you can reveal the final quest and start it – the player that completes it wins the game.

It reminds me of Dungeoneer but it’s really easier. It’s funny to play even if the game usually won’t last less than 2 hours, especially if you’ve 5 players (you can’t have more). The game permits interaction among players and it doesn’t require pens or counters at all, and that’s a good thing. We do not play often but it’s becoming one of our favourites.

So, the verdict is this: if you like card games and you’ve time to play, buy it, it’s not that expensive and it’s a good game.
