Most great games have an abstract rules set with a theme and then throw a little colour at it. This game throws out any facade of realism by giving a patchwork quilt for a board and having objectives which are quite abstract.

Play as Alexander’s generals as he conquers the lands of Asia Minor
In 334 BC, King Alexander of Macedonia and his army moved back and forth across Asia Minor, conquering the land as he passed. He rewarded his generals by giving them control of the new lands, and they established administration over the lands by introducing taxes on the people living there.
In this board game, players take on the role of these generals, with the aim to make the lands as productive as possible. The player who best achieves this can levy higher taxes, show his/her worth to Alexander and win the game!
